A Dispositional Hearing Could Benefit You in a Social Services Case

California attorney Vincent W. Davis explains what a dispositional hearing is and how it could benefit you in your social services case.
A dispositional hearing is a meeting in which it is decided where your child or children will be staying over the course of the next six months. This time allows you to complete your court-ordered items such as drug or alcohol classes and even therapy.

It's important to come to the hearing with any witnesses who can show that your children are not in any danger by being in the home with you. Plus, the state side must prove their case in clear and convincing ways. It cannot be just a judgment call on whether your child may not be safe in the home; they have to show that there is a clear danger to their wellbeing if they return. Watch the video to learn more.
