How To Visit Your Child with Social Services Before Your First Hearing

California attorney Vincent W. Davis explains how important it is to discuss visitation with your social worker before your first hearing even occurs.

If your children have been removed from the home, the social worker is responsible for them until the point of your first hearing.
You should know that you do have legal rights in which to visit with your children however the social services worker may be very hesitant and letting you do so. Why is that? Actually, the reasoning behind that is so that parents do not try to sway their child or make them lie. The social worker is trying to protect the testimony of the child and may deny you custody. But it's important to speak to them and continue to ask for visitation rights to see your children before you get a chance to go to court. Watch the video to learn more.
